Pounce is a puzzle game by Clay Crane Productions. This policy describes what the app collects, why, and the choices you have.
Pounce has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address, contacts, or location, and the app works fully offline.
Your progress (levels, scores, streaks, settings) is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to any server. Deleting the app — or using Settings → Delete My Data inside the app — removes it.
To understand how the game plays and improve it, Pounce sends gameplay events (such as level starts, completions, and hint use) to Amplitude, our analytics provider. These events are tied to a random identifier generated on your device — not to your identity. They do not include precise location, contacts, or any content from your device. See Amplitude's privacy policy. To request deletion of analytics data for your device, email us at the address below.
If you enable them, Pounce schedules reminders locally on your device (for example, daily-puzzle reminders). There is no push server; nothing about notifications leaves your device. You can turn them off any time in the app's settings or your system settings.
When advertising is active in the app, ads are served by AppLovin MAX and its mediation partners. Ad networks may process device information — such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and coarse (city-level) location derived from it — to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud. See AppLovin's privacy policy. You can reset or limit the advertising identifier in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
Pounce is a general-audience game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app contains no chat, no social features, and no free-text input.
If the app's data practices change (for example, when in-app purchases launch), this policy will be updated first, and the "Last updated" date revised.
